We use a lot of LED flashlights at home various things. I have an assortment hanging on my door ready for use in case of a power outage. The first reason being that we could always find it because of it’s size. It’s small enough to stash it in a jacket pocket, and at the same time, it’s too large to ever loose. The bright yellow color also helps.
The second reason that makes it our favorite flashlight it’s super long run time. It’s rated for 20 hours of continuous use and I think that is low estimate. We usually get at least 1 year of use that includes about 5 camping trips. Both of Dory LED Incredibles were used on 5 camping trips this year and are still going strong. Our longest trip was 30 days.
We are big fans of Dorcy and plan on buying a Dorcy LED Lantern to replace our Coleman dual fuel gas lantern. As much as I like the bright and efficient light of white gas, I like to take our lantern into the tent, van, and buildings.
