However, I just purchased  the Sea To Summit Trek TK ii 650 count duck down bag for my wife and I for less than $300 each.  It’s made with a patented dry loft that is repels moisture.  It also weighs under 3 pounds!  The shell is water repellent.  It’s a semi-rectangular bag to boot.  I cannot sleep in a mummy sleeping bag because it’s too restrictive for me.

I have talked with a few of the people at Sea To Summit and I am impressed.  They are very informative and will never try to sell you because you cannot buy directly from them.  One of the inside guys told me not to buy any bag until I  get a good sleeping pad.  Without a good pad to insulate your body from the heat stealing ground, no sleeping bag will keep  you warm in cold weather.

You can buy this back at Back Country or REI.  Both of these companies offer a full life time satisfaction guarantee.  The price is going to be about the same at each.

Amazon also sells Sea To Summit Sleeping bags.
